insights. Samba is looking for a Director of Content Marketing to
lead and elevate our content strategy end-to-end. In this role, you
will build a high-performing content engine, our own editorial
newsroom, powered by Samba’s unmatched media intelligence across
TV, web, and emerging platforms. You’ll shape the stories that
define our brand, showcasing our industry-leading TV and digital
viewership data, AI/ML innovations, agentic workflow solutions, and
next-generation ad tech products. As a senior leader operating at
the intersection of advanced AI technology and programmatic
advertising, you will translate complex data science concepts into
clear, compelling content that engages advertisers, agencies,
publishers, and technology partners. You will own the full content
lifecycle from ideation to distribution, while partnering closely
with Product Marketing, PR, Sales, Technical teams, and executive
leadership to ensure alignment and impact across the organization.
You will manage a small scale high performing team. Deliverables
will depend on your storytelling skills and ability to project
manage creation of snackable quick visual bites of insights
(charts, infographics, etc), as well as shorter reports. What
You'll Do Content Strategy & Execution Build and lead a
high-performing content engine, our editorial newsroom, leveraging
Samba’s cross-screen media intelligence. Drive a focused content
strategy aligned with launches, GTM priorities, and audience needs.
Produce high-impact, multi-format content (reports, visuals,
articles, social, case studies, videos, enablement). Translate
complex data and AI/ML concepts into clear, snackable narratives.
Create repeatable storytelling frameworks around cross-screen
insights, measurement, AI audiences, and ad effectiveness. Own the
content calendar end-to-end for timely, high-quality output.
Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering for
accuracy and clarity. Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling
Position Samba as the leader in AI-driven advertising, cross-screen
measurement, and the future of streaming. Partner with PR/Comms on
executive thought leadership, media narratives, and
analyst/conference content. Identify content opportunities from
trends, competition, customer insights, and internal innovation.
Ensure narrative consistency across touchpoints and develop strong
customer stories that demonstrate ROI. Social & Distribution Manage
and optimize distribution across LinkedIn, X, and other channels.
Lead social strategy to amplify thought leadership and product
news. Monitor engagement and performance to refine content
decisions Collaborate with Digital Marketing to support SE- O, SEM,
and paid promotion. Who You Are 7–10 years in B2B tech content
marketing; 5 in ad tech, martech, data platforms, or SaaS. Strong
understanding of programmatic advertising, identity, clean rooms,
measurement, and attribution. Experience creating content on AI/ML,
data science, predictive analytics, and AI-driven marketing.
Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude, autonomous agents,
orchestration frameworks). Senior-level IC who independently drives
projects end-to-end. Management experience. You have led and
coached a team of high - performers. Exceptional writer/storyteller
able to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
Full-stack creator across visuals, long-form, social, technical
content, and enablement. Skilled at producing mobile-first,
instantly scannable insights. Data-driven, using analytics to guide
strategy. Experience partnering with PR on media relations and
executive visibility. Strategic thinker who executes with high
quality and speed. Curious, collaborative, and effective across
Product, Sales, Marketing, and Exec teams. Learns quickly and
thrives in fast-changing environments. Passionate about ad tech,
AI, streaming/TV, and privacy trends. Bias for action—ships,
learns, iterates. Writes in a clear, human, on-brand voice. Ad tech
expertise from top Ad Tech companies. Background creating content
for AI/ML products or data science teams. Knowledge of CTV,
streaming economics, and TV measurement. Agency or brand-side
experience. Comfortable speaking at conferences. BA in Marketing,
Communications, Journalism; advanced degree a plus. Technical &
Tool Proficiency AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper,
Writer.com). Marketing tech such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GA,
SEMrush/Ahrefs. CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful). Design
collaboration tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe). Project management
software (Asana, Monday, Jira). Strong grasp of SEO and
multi-channel distribution. Samba TV expects to offer a base salary
between $170,000 - $180,000 per year for roles to be performed in
New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on
various factors, including but not limited to, location,
experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of
Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards
may include bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term
