Job Title:Counselor - MATFLSA Status:Non - ExemptJob Summary: The MAT Counselor provides individual counseling and ensures individualized treatment is designed for each client. .Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Must provide 25 hours each week of client contact hours. Provide individual counseling to assigned caseload in accordance with agency and licensing requirements. Ensure individualized treatment is designed for each client.* Conduct 3 assessments as scheduled each week, and ensure paperwork is submitted for review within 24 hours.* Conducts 3 assigned group-counseling sessions each week, and ensure all progress notes are properly completed within 24 hours.* Conduct 10 urinalysis tests on clients each week as prescribed by agency's policies and procedures.* Insure all assigned clinical files are properly maintained, well-documented, and meeting licensing requirements, agency standards, and ensure all treatment plans are reviewed every 60 days.* Properly communicate client's behavior and progress to the appropriate parties as needed.* Facilitate referrals to community resources and ensure proper documentation is provided as required.* Intake newly assigned clients properly and as scheduled. Ensuring admission summaries and psychosocial assessments are properly completed.* Monitor client behavior and provide crisis intervention as needed.* Properly completes all necessary paperwork including notes, evaluation data, and reports as scheduled. Ensure they are completed accurately and completely.* Work in Access Center as needed.* Ensures documentation is submitted accurately and on time for billing.* Must work effectively in an atmosphere of dignity and respect for clients and co-workers.* Participate in RRHS internal training programs.* Participate in RRHS Quality Improvement Program.* Must understand and always adhere to the Organization's Core Values: Civility and Respect; Client Care and Service Excellence; Quality, Efficiency and Effectiveness; Accountability, Integrity and Professionalism; Cooperation and Unity.* Other duties as assigned.The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.
