The administrative assistant is responsible for a variety of day to day activities associated with data entry, general office support, preparing and generating reports and assisting multiple departments at assigned location to include sales, installation, manufacturing, warehouse and customers.


This position is mostly office oriented, but may require some warehouse activity, when needed.

- Answer and direct in-coming calls in a friendly, professional manner.

- Welcome and direct showroom customers in a friendly, professional manner.

- Maintain all job files and database systems supporting the installation and inventory process.

- Provide work order (tickets), extra work orders, back charges, sign offs, and other paperwork and instructions to others for all installation jobs.

- Provide input to project managers in response to installation orders, completion of warranty work, and time-sensitive issues.

- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.

- Pull orders for walk in customers

- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

High School Diploma. Some clerical/administrative experience.


- Construction background preferred

- Strong computer and office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as 10-key calculator

- Ability to embrace data entry programs

- Ability to function effectively under heavy workload during peak periods and to meet strict deadlines on a continuing basis.

- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, management, and colleagues.

- Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.

- Ability to multi-task and manage time in a productive manner.

- Ability to follow and execute detailed instructions.

- Ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and professional journals.Ability to write reports and business correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a timely way.Ability to read and write the English language.


Ability to calculate figures and amounts using a basic calculator
