beautiful and accessible. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX
team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to
leverage user insights and create industry-leading products. As a
Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to
craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution.
You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and
evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative,
inspired products that people love to use. Labs is a group focused
on incubating early-stage efforts in support of Google’s mission to
organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible
and useful. Our team exists to help discover and create new ways to
advance our core products through exploration and the application

timeframes. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$189,000-$274,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring

Responsibilities Lead the visual strategy and brand identity for
AI-native products, ensuring a cohesive but adaptable design
language across experimental workstreams. Help improve model output
quality by prompt engineering and applying core visual design
principles such as typography, space, layout, and color. Architect
and maintain a visual design system that allows engineering teams
to move at startup speeds without sacrificing craft. Utilize
AI-powered design tools to rapidly prototype and iterate on various
visual directions, communicating early-stage concepts and user
journeys.
