Java Developer - Sunnyvale, CA Work Schedule: 2 days onsite and 3 days remote Looking for a Java Developer to join our clients growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of their applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical lead with significant experience in development high quality software applications.Essential Job Responsibilities:Responsible for design, develop, maintain, and review software in a small R&D group with high ambitions for innovation, growth, and new development. High focus on quality and on time delivery.Key Activities:

• Analyzes function requirements, design and implement our software using Java and AngularJS.
• Conducts design reviews and code reviews of feature implementation and documents the detailed designs.
• Provides technical guidance to junior team members.
• Focus on security and compliant system that handles patient sensitive data.
• Be a team player who collaborates with cross functional teams which consists of members from marketing, firmware, hardware, technical support, regulatory and software quality teams.
• Understands business needs and know how to create tools to manage them.
• Has the ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
• Builds automated tests for all software changes made using Junit framework.Technology Environment:
  • Java
  • AngularJS
  • Web application experience with Spring MVC, Angular and REST API.Preferred Requirements:
    • Experience in developing persistence layers using ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
    • Experience with MS SQL.
