Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Santa Rosa,
California, 95405! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid
California License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN
Intermediate, BLS, NRP required Preferred certifications: AWHONN
Advanced Must-Have: Labor and post-partum experience Description:
Labor and delivery experience and post-partum experience are
required. Ratios are 1:3. First-timers accepted. Strong precepting
skills are a plus. Travel experience is required. Must be willing
to float between like units. Local candidates not accepted. Pending
licenses will not be accepted. RTO must be included at the time of
submission. The facility is able to call off once per two-week pay
period. Must be willing to work during major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Additional skills required
include: Labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum, LDRP, triage of
obstetrical patients. Experience with use of IUPC placement and
calibration is necessary. Ability to maintain central lines
(CVC/PICC) is essential. Knowledge in anticoagulation therapy,
antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy is
vital. Experience circulating for C-sections and performing sterile
vaginal exams is required. Candidates should adhere to isolation
precautions and PPE protocols. Strong supervisory references
covering one year of employment within the last three years are
required. Candidates may be expected to float within nearby
facilities. Compliance with the floating policy is important.
Providers may be expected to provide their own communication
devices. Housing options may be limited; candidates should
investigate prior to applying. Modules are required to be completed
pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported. 5
