Experience: 5 years in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology
License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Must have experience with Structural Heart and TAVR.
Must have the ability to float to other facilities. Description:
Parnassus 12-hour days are required. Successful candidates should
have experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology.
Experience with Structural Heart and TAVR is necessary. Candidates
must be able to provide pre/post procedural care. Prior charge
experience is preferred. Experience with a variety of procedures
such as diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement, and
percutaneous coronary interventions is required. Skills in
ventilator management, monitoring procedural sedation, and IV
management are essential. Candidates must demonstrate familiarity
with infection prevention and isolation precautions. Experience
with emergency medications and reversal agents is necessary. Must
have the ability to assist with central line insertion and
management. Additionally, candidates should have experience with
obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG and hemostasis techniques. All applicants
must have prior travel experience within the last 12 months.
Experience in teaching hospitals is preferred. During the
assignment, resources may be reassigned to different departments or
units if they meet the job specifications. All applicants should
have prior employment history that includes work in any university
medical facilities. Employment history must reflect a minimum
separation of one year for prior travelers re-applying.
