Job Title: Clinical Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of three years of acute care and tele experience required License: Valid and current RN license by the State of California Certifications: Current AHA BLS required Must-Have: Previous travel experience required Description: The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, quality nursing care. The RN utilizes nursing theories and models to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all patients. The RN determines the progress of patients towards their goals. A therapeutic professional relationship is established with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Care is provided with consideration of the patient’s physiologic, developmental, and psychosocial needs. Supports the mission and values of the organization and strives for excellence.
