Job Description Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Care Manager for a travel nursing job in Carmichael, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Care Manager Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel The RN Case Manager is responsible for both Discharge Planning and Utilization Review (UR) within the acute care setting. They coordinate and manage patient care across hospital services to ensure quality, cost-effective outcomes while meeting regulatory and payer requirements. Education:\nBSN – Required\n\nExperience:\nMust have prior CA Dignity Health experience\nExperience in acute care case management and utilization review\nProficiency with InterQual (training available, but prior exposure required)\n\nCertifications:\nBLS – Required (AHA)\n\nSkills:\n\nStrong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking\nAbility to work with multiple payer systems\nExperience managing high-volume patient loads (15–20/day)\nFlexible to float and adapt to unit demands About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
