qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Sacramento, California, 95823! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Family Birthing Center
(Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Obstetrics) Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2
years License: Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN -
Advanced (STABLE preferred) Must-Have: Must be able to circulate
C-sections. Must be willing to do it all from start to finish. Must
be able to float as required. Description: The role requires
functioning in a high-risk unit providing couplet care. Registered
Nurses will be expected to provide comprehensive care throughout
the labor and delivery process. Candidates will circulate for
C-sections and should feel comfortable with all aspects of labor
and delivery, postpartum, and antepartum care. There are 10 labor
and delivery beds and 2 operating rooms for C-sections. Triage and
assessment of patients is conducted with 3 triage beds available.
The department handles 100-150 births per month on average. The
nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3-4 for couplets and 1:1 to 1:2 for
labor and delivery. All nurses must be able to read and interpret
EKG strips. Registered Nurses are expected to float to other
departments as necessary. Scrubs will be provided for this
position. Cancellation of shifts by the facility is permitted under
specific conditions during the assignment period. Charting is
