Job Description:
Job Title: PACU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post
Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift:
4x10 (06:00 - 14:30) or 5x8 (09:30 - 18:00) Experience: 2 years of
experience as inpatient PACU RN and/or 2 years of experience in an
outpatient surgical setting License: Active CA RN Licensure
Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Ability to work
in pre-op, PACU, and post-op areas - Epic charting experience
preferred Description: Accountable for the assessment,
coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Includes
direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of
care in an acute patient setting. Involves care for both adult and
pediatric patients. Candidate must be flexible with shift times and
willing to stay later if patients do not meet discharge criteria.
No on-call or weekend shifts are required.
