Employee Health department is accountable for employee health and
safety at the assigned facility. This role participates in
implementation of program changes and work practices for continued
quality improvement. Additionally, provides coordination, planning,
development, evaluation and monitoring of Hospital Compensation,
Transitional Work (TWP) and Employee Health programs.
#missioncritical**Qualifications****Minimum Requirements:** + A
minimum of 3 years healthcareexperience required; one of which is
oneyear of direct experience in riskmanagement, workers
compensationclaims management, care coordination,and/or
occupational/employee health(required).Exception: When staffing is
experiencedenough to support a trainee, applicantswithout the
experience may beconsidered.+ Current California RN License.Current
BLS Certification+ Special skills required include: strongverbal
and written skills ; excellentinterpersonal skills and ability to
handleconflict in an assertive and positivemanner; ability to work
independently;good organizational skills; knowledge ofworkers'
compensation, labor code, OSHAregulations and other state and
federalrequirements.+ Training and/or working knowledge inproviding
educational seminars / training(required).**Preferred
Qualifications:** + Occupational Health Nurse+ Bachelor's of
Science in Nursing degree+ Employee Health experience
