Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. A part-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available within a school district serving students from preschool through high school. This role involves working across seven schools, supporting approximately 40 students with a mix of direct and consultative therapy services. The position is ideal for therapists seeking a varied caseload within an educational setting and offers approximately 18 to 22.5 hours per week on a contract basis. Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students across preschool to high school levels Provide both direct intervention and consultative support to educational staff and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in accordance with school policies Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Desired Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy settings Familiarity with pediatric populations from early childhood through adolescence Ability to work flexibly across multiple school locations within the district Strong communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of educational regulations and therapy documentation requirements Location:This role serves schools located in Vallejo and Pittsburg, California, providing travel between seven different school sites as needed.
