year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract opportunity for a skilled Sign Language
Interpreter is available within a school setting in Woodbridge, VA.
This role focuses on providing Telehealth interpretation services,
facilitating clear communication and accessibility for students and
staff using sign language. Key Responsibilities: Deliver accurate
and effective sign language interpretation via Telehealth
platforms. Assist in communication between hearing and deaf or
hard-of-hearing individuals in a school environment. Maintain
confidentiality and professionalism during all interactions. Adapt
interpretation techniques to meet the needs of diverse educational
situations. Collaborate with educational staff to ensure
accessibility and support for students. Qualifications: Proficiency
in American Sign Language (ASL) and certified interpreter
credentials. Experience interpreting in educational or clinical
telehealth settings. Strong understanding of Deaf culture and
communication nuances. Ability to work independently on a contract
basis. Reliable access to necessary technology for Telehealth
